London Springs
Spring is sprung. We have the beautiful interior of St Martin's in the Field church, Hockney exhibition pack-up, beautiful piece of Sarah Lucas/Tracey Emin ilk, contrails the day before the volcano started, Michael and tulips. Ax

What happened late March and Easter
Fellow XA2 bloggee Alia and I went to the Lina Scheynius photography exhibition on Mare Street and found this magical garage stuffed full of antique furniture.
I travelled via Charing Cross by mistake, so took the train from Waterloo East instead of London Bridge.
The Hot Quiz Buns got 14/40 on the Easter pub quiz at the Prince of Wales, Clapham, proving that 2 heads are better than 5.
I don't often get pictures of my dad, but this is very him - outside, cigarette, recipe book, telling the children off.
The view when sitting at my desk, which has been happening a lot lately. Ax

800 speed Marvelling
Hello. My flash is broken at the moment, and what with it still being quite grey and dark every day, I've been getting some quite fuzzy images recently. Anyways, I whipped in an 800 speed film on the off-chance that my pictures might get a bit less blurry, and the difference in shutter speed has been fantastic. Here's a couple I took in Soho .... normally in this kind of light with a 200 film, my camera would click to start the exposure, I'd have to hold very steady, and then it would click again, having taken the picture. With the 800, its been a click and done. Which, when sans flash, is useful to have around. Going to see how a 400 film works for me this weekend as not been able to track down any 800 in Balham, but we'll see how they come out. Ax
